Discover the technique chefs rely on for perfect results every time. This hands-on sous vide workshop will guide you through precision cooking at home—teaching you how to achieve restaurant-quality texture, flavor, and consistency using simple, repeatable methods.
Led by Certified Master Chef Rich Rosendale, former U.S. Bocuse d’Or competitor, former Executive Chef of The Greenbrier, and longtime owner of Roots 657 in Leesburg.
You’ll season, seal, cook, and finish a series of dishes while learning how to control temperature, timing, and technique for consistently great results.
What You’ll Make:
Sous vide steak with herb butter and pan sauce
Sous vide chicken or fish with a bright, seasonal sauce
Seasonal vegetables, precision-cooked and properly finished
Chef-composed plate bringing all elements together
Served with a light dessert
After a brief chef demonstration, you’ll rotate through guided stations to prepare, cook, and finish each component. Along the way, you’ll learn core sous vide fundamentals and see a side-by-side comparison of traditional vs. sous vide cooking.
The evening concludes with a shared meal featuring everything you’ve prepared.
